Welcome to the Allsorts Toy Library.

The Allsorts Toy Library is home to over 1000 toys and pieces of specialist equipment. It provides a space for families to come together, meet, play and make friends. It is open to Allsorts members who can enjoy a cosy parent and carer meeting space, a play space for children, a sensory room and a music room. We have tracking throughout the play space and a Changing Places toilet.

To browse the items in our Toy Library, use the headings to the left or search for an item in the panel at the top of the page.

PLEASE NOTE:  Toys are borrowed with a voluntary donation.  Please ignore any item fees or balances on your account while we update the website.  Thank you!

Please contact us on 01453 750 474 or toylibrary@allsortsglos.org.uk if you're having any issues with the site, or you would like to some help choosing items. Happy browsing!

  • When?

10am-12.30pm every Friday and Saturday.

·        Booking your visit to a Toy Library Stay and Play session is essential at the moment but we will return to our usual open door policy in the future.

·        Book the whole household in and arrive anytime during the session – stay and play for a while without the pressure of a specific time slot. Reserve toys in advance or browse on the day.

  • Where?

Allsorts Activity Hub, Third Floor, Brunel Mall, London Road, Stroud, GL5 1DL with lots of parking in the adjacent London Road NCP Multi-storey and close to rail and bus stations.

Our fully accessible Activity Hub has a Changing Places Toilet and hoisting throughout, with a specialist sensory room and a clean bright play space that can be transformed with our sensory lighting.

  • Can I still click and collect for a quick visit?

Yes! To borrow without coming in to play, just click and collect – browse online http://allsortsglos.lend-engine-app.com/ and reserve toys to pick up on a Friday or Saturday morning.

  • How Much?

We have a wide range of toys and equipment that need regular updating and replacement.  Specialist items can be very expensive, but this is a great low cost way to try them out.  We want to make the toy library accessible to all, so we simply suggest a small donation per toy per month and £3 per family to stay and play at Toy Library. You can donate by card or just pop a coin in the collection tin – it all helps!

  • How do I book?

Visit our activities calendar allsortsglos.org.uk/events to book your visit or email toylibrary@allsortsglos.org.uk for help borrowing.
